CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!!

Help us Support Nova Scotians with Parkinson’s

We are so proud of the work PSNS has done for those affected by Parkinson’s in Nova Scotia – thanks to our volunteers and donors. However, we want to help even more people who need us across the province. And invite you to help us do just that with whatever time and talents you have to give. Here are a couple of elements we’d love to grow our Volunteer community with. If anything here speaks to you, please do reach out. And if you’d like to contribute in other ways, we’d welcome that too!

Support Group Facilitator Lead a local support group, providing a safe space for individuals living with Parkinson’s and their families to connect and share experiences.

Advocacy Ambassador Help us raise awareness and advocate for improved care, services, and resources for those in the Parkinson’s community. And support PSNS as we endeavour to provide information and services.

Fundraising Help us as we raise funds to enable us to continue providing information, resources, and support.

Newsletter Help us to connect with as many Nova Scotians who need information and resources on Parkinson’s as possible with our regular newsletter.

Media Relations Help us to spread the word about PSNS to more local news outlets so that we can help even more of the Nova Scotia Parkinson’s community. Interested? Great! Please click the Email Us button to discuss how you’d like to support!

In a sector where we usually have more work to do than we have staff to do it, volunteers boost our power, lighten the load, and exponentially increase our impact. Best of all, they do it because they believe in the cause and want to help.
